It's funny that dark.starz deleted a post about his history with drugs. This is a tale with many twists!

He said here, "Back in the 80s and early 90s when my friends and i were taking LSD and plugging in and emulating our musical heroes we were having the time of our lives. Eventually, more adult sensibilities arrived, our priorities changed and psychedelics were no longer part of this new lifestyle."

If he was 14 in 1971, he would have turned 30 around '87 or so. I admit that "more adult sensibilities" often don't start arriving until our 30s, though!

Though it's just a typo, I also loved the bit where "hundreds of tapers have chronicled these performances for prosterity, immorality preserved."

Hey SB--thanks for all that history above; seriously. I knew we initially "clashed", then connected, but it has been lost in the deep history of the Forum...this explains how that happened, and I always wondered how you knew so confidently what was what in this regard.

Not that I should really get involved in all of this crap but it's obvious now I was really not prepared to be a real PM, as I am outta my element with this stuff!

The truth is William - what I described above is just the tip of the iceberg.

I can tell you from being an admin at TA - there is no way to properly describe the bizarre characters that come out of the woodwork and try to gain favor with a site by doing some very weird shit to impress the admins. Its not a knock on anyone, its just that I believe percieved authority makes people act in such a way they may not usually act. Again, this is just my opinion but I am in fact guilty of doing the exact same thing 3 years ago with Koch. I look back like, WTF? Yet now I can easily understand how and why. Such is life I suppose.

Dont sell yourself short William - You would be a good admin. The nuttiness just takes a little while to get used to, then it becomes second nature.
